Online Small Business Classes
Core Training
These short programs from the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center each take less than hour to complete and include slides, audio narration, and detailed notes.
Starting a Business in Arkansas for Veterans prepares entrepreneurs for the intensive business planning process by explaining requirements for start-up businesses, keys to success, and common pitfalls to avoid.
How to Write a Business Plan helps entrepreneurs define their business concept and communicate their strategies and challenges. Included are a sample business plan, editable business plan outline and ASBTDC's Business Blueprints.
Ready to Go: Mobilization Planning for Small Businesses assists small business owners who are in the National Guard or Reserves. The continuing deployment of Arkansas units has brought home the importance of personal and professional readiness. While this need for readiness is true of all service members, Guardsmen and Reservists who are business owners or self-employed face additional challenges upon deployment.
Getting Veterans Back to Business looks at tools, planning resources and information needed to help reestablish your small business following an active tour of duty.
