Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory and Map

The Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory provides an easy to use tool for locating veteran focused assistance with benefits, claims, employment, health, small business and much more. Assistance providers may be located by county, by assistance provided, and by zipcode proximity. Directory results include addresses, telephone numbers, local maps, links to assistance provider websites.

An interactive Google Map depicting all assistance providers is also available. Users may zoom in/out, drag, and change type of map displayed.

Boots to Business TAP Program Begins at Little Rock AFB

Little Rock AFB is now offering the Boots to Business as part of the transition assistance program (TAP). Consider attending this 2-day workshop is you are separating and may want to start a small business.

ASBTDC Veteran Small Business Grant Ends

After a productive four years, the federal grant funds for establishing and operating ArkansasVeteran.com have come to an end. The Arkansas SBTDC will retain the domain name and continue updating the ArkansasVeteran.com portal on an infrequent basis. We also will keep the social media lines of communication open by retaining the associated Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook pages.

2013 Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium (VETS)

On behalf of the National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC), we are excited to announce the return of the Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium (VETS) for the 3rd consecutive year to the Silver Legacy Hotel in Reno, Nevada, June 10-13, 2013. VETS2012 was a resounding success and we couldn't have done it without the support of the various SBDCs, VBOCs, PTACs and Chambers in Nevada and the surrounding states.
