Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory and Map

The Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory provides an easy to use tool for locating veteran focused assistance with benefits, claims, employment, health, small business and much more. Assistance providers may be located by county, by assistance provided, and by zipcode proximity. Directory results include addresses, telephone numbers, local maps, links to assistance provider websites.

An interactive Google Map depicting all assistance providers is also available. Users may zoom in/out, drag, and change type of map displayed.

Memphis Tennessee Job Fair for veterans to be held Monday, 12 Dec.

Maj. Gen. Max Haston, Tennessee’s Adjutant General, has announced a Memphis Job Fair on Monday, December 12th. The Job Fair will be held at Christian Brothers University and open to National Guard members, Reservists, spouses, and all veterans. The Fair will be held in the Thomas Center Conference Room on the campus of Christian Brothers University, 650 East Parkway South, Memphis, TN 38104 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Career Expo

The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services (ADWS) and the Arkansas Workforce Centers will host a Career Expo on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Verizon Arena, located at One Verizon Arena Way, North Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Arkansas Workforce Center Career Expo is an opportunity for employers with job openings to connect with Arkansas jobseekers. Additionally, the Career Expo allows jobseekers looking for a new career to connect with educational programs that can prepare them for their future.
